Transportation Services

Whether it’s a doctor’s appointment, a pharmacy stop, or a quick trip into town, Call Melissa provides safe, caring transportation for those who need a little extra support. Services include:

Door-to-door assistance with getting in and out
Help with walkers, steps, or bags
Rides to medical visits, therapy, or checkups
Local errands like groceries, banking, or the post office
Outings to visit friends, attend events, or enjoy a change of scenery

Every ride is one-on-one, unhurried, and delivered with kindness and respect.

Appointment Assistance

We don’t just drive — we support. Upon request, Melissa can:

Accompany clients into appointments
Take notes and ask clarifying questions
Help relay updates to family or authorized contacts via phone, video call, or summary
Provide comfort and advocacy in unfamiliar or stressful settings

Consent is always required before sharing medical information.

Welfare Checks & Wellness Support

Families often need an extra pair of eyes and ears when they can’t be there themselves. Call Melissa offers:

In-person wellness checks at the home or facility
Friendly drop-in visits with basic status updates
Monitoring of mood, appearance, and home safety cues
Follow-up communication with family or caregivers

Not everything fits in a category — and that’s okay. If you need a little extra help, Melissa is happy to assist or point you in the right direction.

Some examples include:

Help setting up a phone or video call
Organizing mail or paperwork

Being there while a repair person comes by

Pricing & Rates

At Call Melissa, we believe in clear, fair pricing with no surprises. All services are billed hourly, with transparent communication and flexible options based on your needs.

Standard Rate

$25 per hour
This covers transportation, wait time, and light support during appointments or outings.

Emergency / Same-Day Rate

$50 per hour
Applies to urgent or last-minute requests made with less than 8 hours' notice.

Additional Costs (when applicable)

Mileage outside the local area (based on the current government reimbursement rate)
Parking, tolls, or other out-of-pocket expenses
A $15 lunch fee may be added for outings over 4 hours (or meals may be reimbursed)
